OUR RESCUE PROGRAMS
BoMeric General Operating Fund
One of the most impactful ways to support our rescue is to donate to the BoMeric General Operating Fund.
Named in honor of Bo and Meric, our first rescues, this program helps us rescue and care for any horse regardless of their circumstances.
Diamond Initiative
Elderly horses deserve to live out the remainder of their lives peacefully and comfortably. It is our fervent goal to prevent these wise creatures from being abandoned when they reach an age where riding becomes difficult or when they require extensive veterinary care.
We are dedicated to sparing elderly horses the distress of being uprooted from a place they have known for so long, even if end-of-life planning becomes necessary.
Moe Foundation
This program assists individuals whose horses have experienced a severe injury or illness leading to substantial veterinary expenses. We aim to prevent situations where horses might face euthanasia due to financial constraints, especially with the increasing unavailability of veterinarian payment plans.
It is our fundamental belief that no horse owner should ever be forced into such a distressing position.
DUNCAN PROJECT
We are dedicated to collaborating with other rescues and groups to rescue as many horses from the slaughter pipeline as possible.
Our goal is to provide them with the care and support they need, ensuring they find nurturing homes where they can thrive.
